Your result comes straight to your inbox, along with my regular email. One short read a week: honest stories from the training room, first word on free sessions and first dibs on new courses. No guru talk, and you can unsubscribe in one click.

If any of this sounds like you…

Your client can tell you exactly why they’re anxious. They’re still anxious.

You did a breathwork taster once. It felt amazing. You still wouldn’t use it with a client.

You keep picturing someone crying or shaking halfway through. And you don’t know what you’d do next.

If your supervisor asked how you’d use it, you couldn’t answer.

Some weeks you need the breathing more than your clients do.

Three minutes from now, you’ll know which of these is actually holding you back.

What your score shows you

One overall score, plus a score in each of the five areas that matter.

  • Your own practice: whether you’re steady enough yourself to steady anyone else.
  • Safety and scope: contraindications, trauma awareness and when to refer. The one most trainings rush past.
  • Using it 1:1: whether you could bring breath into a session and know what to do if it gets big.
  • Holding a group: guiding a room through big reactions without taking them home with you.
  • Fitting it into your practice: how breathwork sits alongside the work you already do, and how it gets paid for.

Then one honest next step. Sometimes that’s training. Sometimes it’s “practise on yourself a while longer first.” Either way, it’s straight with you.

Why I built this

I’d been teaching yoga for ten years before I realised I didn’t actually know how to breathe.

So I trained in breathwork properly. When Covid hit and the people holding everyone else together were running on empty, I gave breathwork its own training, for anyone who helps people for a living. It became CIMSPA’s first endorsed breathwork qualification.

The people who come to me aren’t asking whether breathwork will change their life. They’re asking whether it’s safe for their clients. Julie, a social worker at a children’s hospice, now runs a government-funded breathing café. Laura, a counsellor, took her practice into groups.

Neither of them needed a guru. They needed to know where they stood. So I built the check I’d want every helper to take first.

Questions

Is this a sales pitch in disguise?

No. Your score is useful on its own whether you ever train with me or not. If it says you’re ready, I’ll tell you about my training. You can unsubscribe in one click.

I'm not a counsellor or a nurse. Is this for me?

Yes, if you help people for a living. Coaches, social workers, OTs, physios and teachers all take it. Planning a move into this work? It’ll show you what you’d need first.

What if I score low?

Then it’s done its job. A low score on safety and scope is the most useful thing you could learn before using breathwork with a client. It’s information, not a verdict.

Why do it now?

Because you’re already thinking about it. Would you rather find your gaps in three free minutes, or in the middle of someone’s session?

Three minutes. Fifteen questions. One honest answer.
