BECOME A Pilates TEACHER

Lead a happy, active, healthy life as a certified Pilates professional or add this teaching qualification to your existing career portfolio.

Pilates has a weird rep.

For whatever reason, people seem to think this is a trend for skinny, stinking rich, white women.

It’s not. I’m proof of that!

It’s for everyone. In fact, the more people I can reach with this modality and message, the better the world will be.

You don’t need to have a dancer’s body. You definitely don’t need to fit into an age range. And you’re not expected to be flexible.

I mean, that’s the point of starting pilates. To get in shape and feel better. Not to be in shape already. (Duh!)

If you’ve been to pilates and found it helped your sore back, tight hips, childbirth issues, sports injury and more, this teacher training is for you. You already know the power of it.

But you know what else? For sooooo many people, going to a pilates class is the only hour in the week they have to focus fully on themselves.

If you want to help people experience that kind of mind/body transformation, while getting to know your own body better, read on.

I’ve been a pilates instructor for 17 years. When I took my training class, I was the only person who came from a yoga background. I had a different skill set. What I found was that yoga complimented pilates. But pilates is what supported me in finding my core.

It gave me a whole new level of body awareness. It also improved my personal yoga practice. I could do postures that couldn’t before. It made me feel stronger, more present and centered.

In 2011, I became the first person in Northern Ireland to teach Level 3 Pilates training.

Because I was cutting edge at the time, I was able to adapt my programmes to the clients. I don’t teach Classical Pilates. I’m not rigid! Instead, I developed an alternate style more suited to everyone.

It’s especially helpful for people who suffer from Parkinson’s, MS, Cancer, and the elderly.

My classes have a way of creating community, while helping people feel better. If that’s what you want too, this pilates teacher training is for you.
